ACGlobal prepares for North America and Europe investment missions, promoting Philippine opportunities, CREATE MORE, tax policy, and global partnerships.

Following investment missions in Asia and Australia, ACGlobal prepares for North America and Europe with the global launch of WHY INVEST IN THE PHILIPPINES?—CREATE MORE Edition.

MANILA, Philippines — From the ASEAN Tech Summit in July to the International IT-BPM Summit in September 2026, Asian Consulting Group (ACGlobal) has brought its investment advocacy full circle: promoting Philippine opportunities abroad while advancing a modern, globally competitive tax policy agenda at home.

Following the completion of its investment missions in Asia and Australia, ACGlobal is preparing for its next engagements in North America and Europe in October and November 2026, connecting foreign investors and strategic partners with opportunities to establish, expand and grow their businesses in the Philippines.

The missions will feature the global launch of WHY INVEST IN THE PHILIPPINES?—CREATE MORE Edition, supporting ACGlobal’s campaign to position the country as a strategic gateway and investment hub in Asia.

The economic stakes are substantial. According to the Philippine Statistics Authority, the digital economy generated ₱2.74 trillion in gross value added in 2025, equivalent to 9.8% of GDP. Separately, IBPAP reported that the IT-BPM industry surpassed US$40.3 billion in revenues, supported 1.9 million workers, and contributed approximately 8% of GDP. These overlapping measures underscore the importance of technology and global services to Philippine prosperity.

For Mon Abrea, Global Tax Policy Expert and ACGlobal Chief Tax Advisor, sustaining this momentum requires tax and regulatory systems that keep pace with the industries driving growth.

At the ASEAN Tech Summit Manila in July, Abrea’s engagement centered on inclusive and scalable digital capital markets, highlighting the role of forward-looking tax policy in building investor trust and supporting innovation across ASEAN.

That agenda continued at the 18th International IT-BPM Summit on September 23 at Okada Manila, where Abrea joined Customs Commissioner Ariel F. Nepomuceno and IBPAP President and CEO-Designate Celeste Ilagan in discussions on regulation and ease of doing business. With the summit focused on “Intelligence at Scale: Accelerating the PH Pivot,” the challenge is increasingly clear: translate the Philippines’ established services strengths into higher-value opportunities in an AI-enabled global economy.

ACGlobal’s proposed policy agenda connects investment promotion with practical reforms: consistent VAT treatment, clearer cross-border tax rules, digital Customs processes, faster government transactions, and risk-based audits that focus enforcement on material noncompliance while reducing unnecessary disruption for compliant businesses.

It also calls for closer alignment between Philippine investment incentives and evolving international tax standards, including the OECD Global Minimum Tax, so investors can assess their obligations and long-term returns with greater confidence.

CREATE MORE provides an important foundation. The law offers qualifying enterprises expanded incentives, including a 20% corporate income tax rate under the enhanced deductions regime and VAT relief for eligible transactions, subject to applicable requirements. ACGlobal’s advocacy emphasizes making these benefits accessible through clear rules and consistent implementation.

The upcoming missions will also highlight opportunities associated with Pax Silica and the Luzon Economic Corridor.

The Philippines’ participation in Pax Silica strengthens its potential role in secure semiconductor, artificial intelligence and advanced manufacturing supply chains. A planned industrial hub within the Luzon Economic Corridor provides a platform for attracting investment linked to these emerging industries.

Connecting Subic Bay, Clark, Manila and Batangas, the Luzon Economic Corridor supports opportunities across manufacturing, logistics, energy and infrastructure. For ACGlobal, these developments create a compelling investment proposition when combined with Philippine talent, global services capabilities and effective implementation of CREATE MORE.

Through investor engagements and the book launch, ACGlobal aims to help international businesses understand market-entry options, evaluate incentives, navigate cross-border taxation and identify local partnerships. The objective is to turn investor interest into operating projects, quality jobs, stronger exports and opportunities for Filipino suppliers.

ACGlobal invites foreign investors, multinational companies, business chambers, institutional partners and sponsors to participate in its North America and Europe investment missions.

Its message brings the journey from ASEAN’s technology discussions to the global investment stage into focus: Promote the Philippines abroad. Reform government at home.

The Philippines Rises. The World Invests.
