The Asian Consulting Group’s Tax Hub Talks series was brought to Laguna as part of the Tax Amnesty Roadshow!
The seminar was held in San Pablo City on August 13, Tuesday, attended by small and medium enterprises from CARD SME Bank.
Organized by the Center for Strategic Reforms of the Philippines, the nationwide roadshow aims to discuss maximizing the tax amnesty. The roadshow itself is part of CSR Philippines’ and ACG’s advocacy of tax education and reform.
For the roadshow in Laguna, the Tax Hub Talks went beyond the tax amnesty. The Philippine Tax Whiz, leading the seminar, also discussed the tax reform, specifically TRAIN Law and TRABAHO Bill.
By teaching taxpayers about the basics of taxes, ACG aims to help taxpayers avoid unnecessary fines and penalties. Without these penalties, taxpayers can save millions on taxes.
The Tax Hub Talks will continue to be held all around the country through ACG’s satellite offices. In 2019, the Asian Consulting Group has opened satellite offices in Vigan, Laguna, Albay, Bacolod, and Puerto Princesa!
In addition to being held at its satellite offices, the Tax Hub Talks will continue to be held at ACG’s main office. Going beyond taxes, ACG will discuss Digital Transformation and Blockchain Technology on September 6.
What’s more, as the Philippines’ Tax Hub for SMEs in the Asia-Pacific, ACG continues to undertake other means to promote its advocacy.
Recently, the Asian Consulting Group has launched a tax publication to give taxpayers an overview of taxes. Iwas Buwis-it: What To Do When Tax Attacks is inspired by the casual style of magazines. The book is easy to read and easy to understand.
The book’s author, ACG Founding Chairman Mon Abrea, has previously written the bestselling tax handbook, “Got A Question About Taxes? Ask The Tax Whiz!”
